A horse with no name

I received the Labour leaflet promoting their South Wales West regional list yesterday. It is a very professional looking and glossy with two prominent pictures of Carwyn Jones, resplendent in a nice new suit and a red tie.

The only thing missing though is the names of the candidates on the Labour list. Are they intending to fill those names in later?

I have long contended that Labour's policies for Wales were rather bland and anonymous. Now they are choosing candidates to suit.
Comments:
Funny you should mention that. I've just had another unsolicited e-mail from Rob Speht which mentions you and Peter May but makes no reference to the the Lib Dem candidate for Swansea East.

That may be because it is difficult to establish geographical boundaries when working with e-mail. The Swansea East candidate is Robert Samuel. You will get a leaflet shortly.

There is genuinely no point in listing five names on a leaflet, especially since candidates names no longer appear on the ballot paper.

By all means mention the lead candidate especially if they are a sitting AM.

I am intrigued however that Carwyn was pictured in SWW given that he's the candidate in Bridgend.

On the subject of Labour leaflets and horses, I refer you back to your post a while back about the 'i am not a horse' leaflet.

Perhaps, for the avoidance of doubt, and to avoid another such leaflet from a disgruntled Labour candidate, you should make it clear that you are not, in fact, referring to their nameless candidate as a horse.

worth a mention is that the Labour leaflet for mid and west wales regional list has a picture of carwyn on front looking tall. One would think it would be one or all of their regional candidates on front or back of leaflet.
