Political promise of the day
The Guardian reports on a pledge by Gordon Brown that if re-elected he will serve a full term.
Quite how this is meant to persuade people to vote Labour I have not worked out yet.

Because I can see brown at home in front of the mirror with his superman suit on pretending he can fly, he says to his wife do you think this suits me love or would bat man be better.
