American satirists in mourning
I am more than happy to take Sarah Palin's imminent resignation as Governor of Alaska at face value. After all it is difficult to see how this action could advance her career in anyway whatsoever.
Whether there is a scandal waiting to break I do not know. We will just have to wait and see. However, I know how difficult it is to maintain a work-life balance when you are a full-time politician and I am in a very minor and insignificant league. The strain on Palin's family must have been immense and would not have been helped by her own behaviour since being brought onto the Presidential ticket by John McCain.
I am sure that a woman of Tiny Fey's talents and abilities will have no problem in finding other work.

If you can't see how this can help her i suggest you sit back & watch.

the GOP hierarchy will never allow the deranged palin another run at the presidency on their ticket.....i predict that there wil indeed be a palin for president campaign in 2012...but as a 'independent' candidate of the US right wing, resulting in a huge split of the 'republican' vote and thus allowing president obama an easy election victory and so a second term!
This will be most fitting as the ignorant palin is the most divisive and unpleasant figure in US politics since the reactionary segregationist george wallace!

Yes but even George Wallace reinvented himself and came back! Quite frankly as I had mentioned how can she run when she is out of office and off the public's radar? Also what type of Republican is she? The People rejected the Neoliberal brand last year (something Limbaugh and co still in denial over)
