Moses?
The Welsh Assembly tomorrow is debating a motion tabled by the One Wales Government entitled 'Leading Wales out of the recession'.
For some reason I cannot get the image out of mind of Rhodri Morgan standing on the shore of the Bristol Channel, staff raised aloft, as the waters part in front of him.
I doubt if the debate will be that eventful however.
Update: On a more serious note Inside Out questions why this entry considers the debate on the recession is more worthy of comment than the statement by the Deputy Minister for Social Services on Children's Services in Swansea. The answer is that the statement only appeared on the agenda at about 10am on the day, whereas this post was written about 14 hours earlier.
Those members of the Labour Party who write that website would do well to read the record of that discussion. If they did so then they would learn how their refusal to engage with the improvement process and their obsession with using children's services as a political football has contributed to the reasons for the Minister's decison to intervene.

Well if there is a chance that Rhodri might lead his merry coalition into the murky political waters off the Welsh coast, I might take a day off work and head for the "Bay of Plenty" in anticipation of the spectacle.
