what is more remarkable still is the fact that only 4 decades ago black people - and their political representatives - were being murdered for simply trying to vote! (and that on occassions these murders would take place with the apparent collusion of local 'law enforcemnt' agencies')
By the way let me be the first to say it - and i dearly hope nothing like this occurs - but if anything should happen to obama today it was NOT the work of a 'lone nut'!
