Blog Awards
Five plus years of blogging and suddenly I am winning awards. I now have a very nice little statuette to commemorate my receipt of the Tim Garden Award for the best blog by a Liberal Democrat holding public office. I must have got something right at last.
The full awards are here. Especial congratulations to Alix Mortimer for deservedly winning best new Liberal Democrat blog, best posting on a Liberal Democrat blog and Liberal Democrat blog of the year.

I seem to be the first to congratulate you, Peter. You must be proud to hold an award bearing the name of a great Liberal Democrat, who was taken from us too soon.
Is the statuette praying? Looks like it is. Maybe it's Dafydd Iwan, or his little Buddies "Edna" the Pantomime Dame and Blunderman Rhodri from Ammanford, praying for some new ideas for Plaid Cymru's energy policies now they've ditched the Severn Barrage in favour of roof top Wind Turbines to power the nation!
Green Man: shame we can't harness the hot air produced by Plaid, we would be self-sufficient in electricity, probably be exporting it.
