Eight days to go
With just eight days to go until the smoking ban is introduced here the Wales on Sunday leads on the shock horror story that the Assembly Government is asking drinkers to report people breaking the new smoking ban by ringing an anonymous shop-a-smoker hotline.
As Wales' smoking ban is based almost entirely on that in force in Ireland then this development is not entirely unexpected. On the other side of the Irish Sea this hotline is known as the 'snitch-line'. I wonder what it will come to be called here.
