Birthday treat
I decided some time ago that I was too old to enjoy birthdays anymore so I was not too upset at the fact that I had to spend this evening (my 46th birthday) speaking at a hustings event in Port Talbot in a bid to be reselected as an Assembly candidate. My big problem now is how I am going to find the time to watch the DVD box set of the entire of series one to six of the West Wing that I had as a present.

Well, happy birthday Peter! Having watched the entire West Wing series on DVD I can assure you that you are in for a treat. But it gets to be a drug. Don't start watching until you have a lot of time. You get to midnight and you think, "aw, just one more episode...then it's 1am..." Get the picture?
Yes I know! I dont think I have missed many if any episodes on the TV anyway but that is not going to stop me, when I have the time.
