Dom Perignon surprise
It is often said that Charlotte Church is an ordinary down-to-earth Cardiff girl with attitude. It is nice to see from this Wales on Sunday article that she is still in touch with her roots:
Speaking in an interview with Q magazine the star said: "I have a £1,500-a-month credit card limit. I went over that last night. My trustee Terry phoned me and he was so angry.
I need someone to keep me in check. I pay him to phone me and give me a telling off if I overspend.
"£1,500 is a lot for a girl like me in Cardiff. I don't pay bills. It's just spending money.
"Terry got cross because we went to Chinawhite (a London nightclub). I don't know about champagne and I thought Dom Perignon was like Moet so I'm like, 'I'll have two bottles of Dom Perignon Rose, please.' She came in with this £1,000 bill and I'm like, 'Sorry love, that's not mine.' But I had to sign it then because the whole table was watching.
"It kills me I spent that much on champagne when I could have blown it in River Island."
